Good news for the people of Manchester and Birmingham. The Westminster Government will no doubt classify it an ‘England and Wales project’, so as with HS2, us folk in Wales will end up paying towards it.

Trying to be humorous from a position of ignorance doesn’t work. Says more about her, than it does about us.

I was eventually able to discover that he went to the 23rd Division and most likely the 102nd Brigade. He served with them through to the end of the war. (3/3)

Unfortunately his records had been partially destroyed, so we knew that he’d left his original unit at the end of 1916, but didn’t know where he went. Fortunately I had some of my grandmother’s postcards, which provided some leads. (2/3)

My grandfather was a case in point. Enrolled in 1914 with the RFA (93rd Brigade of the 20th Light Division) and ended up in a totally different Division. You researched his official records for me originally Chris, back in 2012 (1/3)

Can you imagine how Reform UK would react if a Welsh leader of any other party had been sentenced for 10 years for taking bribes?

Nathan Gill once said he "would never apologise for being patriotic".

Tbf he never said to which country...

A quick word in praise of our wonderful NHS. Fell and stubbed my finger last night. Couldn’t move it this morning so visited A&E in Cardiff. Had a consultation, x-ray and splint fitted for a ruptured tendon, all within 25 minutes of arrival and all free. Thank you #NHS ❤️

They say that a double negative equals a positive. So if I forget that I have a poor memory, does that mean I have a good memory? 🤔

Another cringeworthy online ad. Cardiff’s not there mate, that’s a map of English regions. Block, block, block.

It never ceases to amaze me the level of prejudice amongst some Welsh people towards their own language. Had a meal today with some ‘old friends’ who spouted all sorts of nonsense on the subject…
October 14, 2025 at 8:19 PM
…they possibly feel some inadequacy, but rather than doing something positive, like improving their language skills, they choose to dismiss and deride. Good thing there are many more who do not think that way. #YmaOHyd

Another laughable ad on my Google timeline. I doubt this house is in Cardiff as implied, or even in the UK for that matter. Happy to be corrected, but in the meantime its a BLOCK from me.

It is very nearly the tenth anniversary of that brief moment when, for 2 or 3 days, British newspapers remembered refugees are desperate human beings who need our help, rather than scum that it's okay to threaten with violence.

Why do some businesses persist in posting stupid ads like this? Would anyone ever click on this? I don’t get it.
