They have an obligation to find us another flight under regulation (EC) 261/2004, which applies in this situation, and they didn’t even try.

I’m flying out of the EU, so Canadian regulations do not apply. If I were in Canada, this would apply, but I’m not.

They say they can’t, which is bullshit because I’ve found flights. I haven’t let them off the hook by cancelling my flight, so they’ll have to compensate me for any flight I get. Air Canada are lying to their clients. It’s quite astonishing.
