Paleontology master’s student at Baylor University who’s mapping some dinosaur tracks. I also work on Columbian mammoths when I feel like it.

Behold, a 3D rotating image of a probable dinosaur regurgitalite (fossil vomit) that also contains the type specimen of a newly described Cretaceous pterosaur from Brazil, Bakiribu waridza! Muito obrigado e parabéns, Prof. @alinemghilardi.bsky.social & colegas. 🧪🪨🦖🤮
You can see Bakiribu fossil in 3D! Access it here: www.morphosource.org/projects/000...

Started off @geosociety.bsky.social conference the right way, looking at some dinosaur tracks and adding photos and scans of these ancient foot traces to my personal collection…

I know the show isn’t remembered in the best light, but does anyone remember Jurassic Fight Club, specifically the flash game that was on the History Channel’s website, Turf Wars?

A memory of me breaking my grandparents’ keyboard as a kid while button mashing as Utahraptor just assaulted my brain.

It’s been a couple of days since the news went public and I’m still blown away.

Insane to think that people were actually able to study the preserved mummy of an extinct animal with no modern-day analogues.

I have no idea how long this has been out, I just wanted to claim an account with my name but I think I was too late.

Anyway, my name’s Evan and I like bones and rocks
