It ain’t easy playing two or more characters, when one is on stage, and the other is not. Like many of the jokes in Dracula: a Comedy of Terrors, this one is funny I think because it is so unexpected.

Anyone else find it a bit stupid that the U.S. pool depth is imperial when surely all other dimensions are metric, since all event distances are named/measured in metric?
