Just found out Twinkle Twinkle represents autistic children! No wonder I love that character series so much. Glad we can be represented in a really cute way. The artist who designed Twinkle Twinkle even had a charity event to support autistic children 🥺🥺🥺

Something feels really dystopian about working for really wealthy people. Like the gap between us is glaringly wide and obvious . All I'm asking for is a liveable income, and I don't even have that yet.

So I worked a charity event today in a fancy restaurant. It's nice of rich people to donate, but I couldn't help but feel so disheartened knowing that I, and others in need out there could never reach the excess amounts of wealth they have.

Some people think those with ASD are just quirky...they don't realize how detrimental emotions can get. How painful a rigid mindset can be. I feel drained and angry so often. masking is so tiring. I can't afford not to mask. I'm so jealous of how neurotypical people can exist so comfortably

Seems like Canada is actively working towards UBI, starting with guaranteed livable basic income. We still need to fight hard for UBI. We shouldn't have to beg to be able to live humanely.
