Last night, someone on this here website told me that no one is using AI agents yet and they're still way far in the future. But it's already happening.

A friend last year told me that most people are distracted by the idea that AI is "chatbots." I didn't get that at the time, but now I think I do.
"For much of the country, AI has come to mean ChatGPT, Google’s AI overviews, and the slop that now clogs social-media feeds. Meanwhile, tech hobbyists are becoming radicalized by bots that can work for hours on end, collapsing months of work into weeks, or weeks into an afternoon."
AI Agents Are Taking America by Storm
The post-chatbot era has begun.

The shelter I volunteer with has a unique adoption situation right now and I'd be so grateful if people could share to anyone they know in Vermont who might be a good fit. This is Devon, and his story is a little complicated so please click this link to find out more! www.hsccvt.org/Cats#sl_embe...

In Central Park, we see coyotes and raccoons, but birding here in Texas is just a little...different. This huuuge gator was sunbathing right next to a pond we've been visiting. It was no more than 40 feet from where I was standing. Yikes! 😮😮😮

Incredible story that is worth your time to read. It exposes the ways in which the Trump admin is turning the legal immigration system into yet another arm of the mass deportation machine, transforming a benefits agency into a trap for those seeking legal status.

The current person in charge of ICE's procurement for detention is a GEO Group executive who ran the company's immigration detention portfolio. He was granted an "ethics waiver" from DHS allowing him to hand out contracts to GEO in his new role.

It drives me insane that Elon Musk basically did a Holodomor on the third world and it's not treated like a bigger deal. This should be the number one thing that people know him for. This should be in the first paragraph of his Wikipedia entry. This is a history book scale atrocity.
As a direct result of the obscene actions of Russell Vought and Elon Musk in destroying USAID, we can expect “at least 9.4 million additional deaths by 2030, if the current funding trend continues.

About 2.5 million of those deaths are projected to be children under the age of 5.”

While "moderates" have always called for calm & continuity amid regimes of repressive violence & exploitation, embracing genuine liberation—like militant abolitionist Robert Purvis—has always provided the only way forward towards actual freedom, something "time" & "patience" will never bring about.

New from me: an example of how the voices of "moderation" have ALWAYS gotten it wrong in struggles for civil rights & equality. This would be a very good time to FINALLY collectively figure this out.

This is Lil Cat.

She’s in Mendocino. A little shy. VERY sweet. 8 years old. And was well loved.

Can anyone give her a soft spot to land?

That face!

If not, can you share?

This is precisely what polling places were like for part of the 19th century.

People often traveled long distances by horse to vote. It was a big deal when folks got together this way.
