I wanted to pick up one of these Mustang 60th emblems for my computer or toolbox. Finally got a part number and a price from a Ford dealer.

Yours for only $364 a pop.
For a 4.5" piece of decorative plastic.

Nice to see the (amazing) Ford Heritage Vault start to digitize Aussie-spec Louisville Truck brochures.

Nothing like a RHD LTL 9000 with round lamps and cast-spoke wheels...

Kind of wish we could retroactively apply these tarrifs on Chinese-made knicknacks to all the stupid shit the right bought over the past 4-8 years...

A family showed up at our local playground rocking not only a Nissan NV3500 Passenger Van, but one that had been blessed with a Quigley 4x4 conversion.

I wanted to shake their hands, but, uh, they were rather full wrangling all their kids...

I'm used to OEMs badge-engineering a competitor's product in order to fill a hole in their lineup.

What I'm not used to seeing is an OEM bringing a badge-engineered product to market and then **not marketing it in the slightest.**

Good luck finding the Hino S-Series on Hino's own site.

I am of the mindset that A-body Barracudas are prime rally car fodder, and this video isn't helping sway me from that opinion.

I thought my original copy of the '63 Chrysler Turbine Car operator's manual was obscure enough, but my new goal apparently needs to be to source a copy of the GM Delco navigation system manual for any of the Apollo missions.

Fortunately, several of these have been digitized and are online.

Remember when these motherfuckers were (allegedly) so goddamn pissed about Hillary's email server?

They apparently have zero qualms schlepping sensitive data - possibly even including yours - onto something with the same, if not less, security.
3/ different pieces fit together. There also seems to be a significant amount of downloading government data onto private servers, etc, totally outside any cybersecurity regime. Additionally it’s unclear to the people inside whether the people doing these things actually work for the US govt…

Have plans the evening of April 3rd?
Come say hi, enjoy a historical lecture by yours truly, and take in the area's newest automotive museum.

This was a delightful two hours of both insider Corvette history and one of the most frank walk-throughs of GM program development you'll likely encounter.

Worth your time and listen.

Props to @harborfreight.bsky.social - had a pair of jackstands that, while not the specific SKUs recalled by NHTSA, were on the list of acceptable returns. No fuss, no muss returning these 10+ yr-old stands for generous store credit some 4 yrs after the campaign kicked off.

Here? 90%.
Almost half of U.K. drivers do not know what the warning lights in their dashboards mean.

Wonder what the comparable figure for the U.S. is ....
