These Meta layoffs suck.
The way the store front UI is layed out it feels like meta quests are going to become virtual Roblox/Horizon Worlds machines.
They're getting users to create their games now. No need to have pesky in house development studios that need health insurance! 😔

former meta employees tell me that a fourth studio, camouflaj, was also hit hard by recent layoffs. unlike the other three, it remains open, but in-development game projects have been canceled, and studio heads have been let go. ex-employees characterized it as being "effectively" shut down
