Just watched the Grenfell Tower documentary. £69.44 for every person that died—that’s how much money they saved using cheap and highly flammable cladding to give the tower an unnecessary facelift, which ultimately caused the severity of the fire. #EatTheRich

If you have never tried making scissor-cut noodles (or jian dao mian) I hiiiighly recommend. I just put some in chicken soup and the texture is to die for. Also surprisingly great with an Alfredo. The key is to let them rest so the flour can absorb the water properly. #easydinner

I may have shown up for my 4 PM dentist appointment at 2 PM (cause I had a 2 PM appointment last week so my brain decided that is when appointments happen and #dyscalculia) but at least my barista accidentally made me an extra large chai when I paid for a small. Counting my wins.

I have terribly disappointing news to impart. Electric eels are actually fish. Eels are so cool and mysterious, and here I thought the coolest of them all could full on electrocute you. But it’s just an eel shaped fish. Still cool, but not nearly as mysterious. A sad day. #TIL #naturefacts

Tried to make chicken and dumpling stew. NYC doesn’t sell jiffy baking mix, only their buttermilk pancake mix. Assumed it was a richer version of the same thing. Accidentally made sweet chicken and maple dumpling stew. Nearly crashed out and tossed the whole pot into the courtyard.
