TL;DR: it's not constructive criticism if it wasn't asked for, polite, and helpful. Don't single artists or their artworks out if they could see it and potentially get hurt. You can dislike something and still appreciate that is exists and will mean something to someone :]

BlueSky fucking scares me, so I'm tryna clarify that I don't think you should put specific artworks or artist on blast, even if you don't directly @ them (e.g., posting screenshots tearing it down). Just be mindful of what they might feel if they come across this.

I think you can have a healthy conversation with someone about disliking something their art features, but be careful. Don't do it in a way that makes their art seem inherently lesser. Don't be passive aggressive. You can admit something isn't for you while still appreciating its existence.

I want to clarify that if you're talking about why you dislike something, don't go putting the art or artist on blast. Also, don't talk about deeply hating something in art when in direct conversation with someone whose style relies on this. Just be considerate. Vague posting isn't always bad.

Of course, I wouldn't feel bad for not liking an artwork. You can find a piece or a style or a subject really unappealing. There's no shame in plain old disliking something. In the same way, disliking something doesn't strip it of its worth. You can dislike someone's art and still be nice.

Ask yourself why it bothers you. Is it something specific you'd change? Try applying these changes to your own art. Were you already in a bad mood? Take some time for self-care.
I'd only recommend (politely!) approaching if the artist failed to tag for things like eye strain and stuff.

Also, I've been working with the same colour palette for everything. For the life of me, I can't remember the name. I've liked having a limited colour palette to force me to think about the colour interactions more. My normal art isn't restricted like this (which I also like).

I think Aseprite was well worth the purchase. For obvious reasons, it's *so* much easier than Clip Studio Paint. It had also been on my wishlist for a while!
Some of the UI is a bit of a pain, but I think I'm just not used to it. I'm slowly getting the hang of it all.

However, I'm very proud of myself for making them! I really like how I'm getting a hang on pixel art. I'm only working with 32ร32 pixels, but, hey, I used to only function with 16ร16! :D
