the threat of deportation creates an underclass that can't access the justice system or public services. these people are then exploited. that's the entire point. ICE and DHS (and their European counterparts, etc) are not "failing to address" this, they exists *to* create this underclass!

i think FF fiction is simply not on the radar of most people and that's why as an international art scene it should embrace more experimental play with genre, setting, character, plot, and of course embodiment and desire, and act something like a lez secret society because that's fun
