I think dying light is a game with a simple enough story and addictive enough gameplay to get me into actually playing horror in a way resident evil couldn't. Re is incredibly good and I did fixate on it, but there were too many games and too much story and eventually it changed to action before +

I like nightmare row. I'm only 50 pages in but it's refreshing to see the early stages of infection from another perspective
Because I haven't played the following, dl2 or the beast yet. I was spoiled way before I got into it, I know Kyle is immune (which is super interesting)

Of course there's 3 hour ambience loops with rain sfx for dying light on YouTube there's a target audience for that. That being me. But I'm having a thing like I did with resident evil where I'm uncertain if I need to go this far. I don't but it's nice to know people are catered for

Maybe it's the stark contrast between the real life situation all the adults have to go through and the amount of kids that have lost their parents through the infection. The switch up between the swearing every two seconds and putting on the calm facade to help a kid through a traumatic event

I think one day I need a deep psychological evaluation of why I'm so attached to media where kids are saved from dangerous situations by comfort characters bc I think it says that I wished that happened to me but it didn't. Looks at Ninjago, looks at Dying Light side quests. Looks at Anqua my oc

Infinite Showdown (3rd infinite boss) gives the same vibes as Crystallised Whip because it's a lyrical song made by the orchestral arranges and it adds to the stakes so well even if the product itself isn't that great in most people's eyes

Kicking your feet in the air whimpering and crying due to pain is the worse feeling in the world especially in the society where you're just told to deal with if. I'm trying. As best I can. But it comes and goes in waves and there's only so much pain meds can do

You know what's funny? Max can't get more than 8 hours sleep to himself. And if he did it would mean Steel would have to recharge before he explodes and probably wake him up.

I watched the live action movie.
I actually. Really liked it? It's low budget sure but the emotion was there, it dives right into Max's conflict, and we get minor body horror yippee!!
