I wouldn’t mind weapon durability in all these games if it were ever remotely “realistic.” Tell me a sword is going to snap in half after 5 connections on a pig creature, or a lead pipe is going to disintegrate after downing 3 zombies.

I am finally playing Breath of the Wild since it runs so beautifully on the Switch 2, and I can’t help but notice: Where is the music? To me, Zelda has always been heavily tied to nostalgic tracks. I’m drowning in silence here.

Ever since I posted this I’ve been getting bombarded by ads across social media for the Breath of the Wild vinyl.
I assume the record is a straight hour of footsteps, clanking armor, ambient and repetitive white noise music, and (probably) an actual end credits *song*.
