Coworker: That's why I like Led Zeppelin, they never made their songs political.

Me: Didn't they write "Immigrant Song?"

They should make a new season of Schitt's Creek but never air it in America.

I officially ended 2024 with 499 books. If I counted the uncollected chapters of One Piece, Sakamoto Days, Hunter x Hunter, Dogsred, and Kagurabachi, it'd be around 510 or so. Regardless of that, definitely the highest amount I've read in a single year since I've started keeping track.

499. Dandadan volumes 1-20. Story and art by Yukinobu Sato, and translated by Kumar Sivasubramian.

(Technically only 18 is solicited in Japan, and 10 just came out in Eng, but the MangaPlus chapters add up to at least 2 more volumes, so I'm counting them)

@mrtylercrook.bsky.social reading through The Lonesome Hunters: The Wolf Child, did you have any specific little dairy town west of Philly in mind at the beginning?

After abandoning twitter for the most part to switch to Mastodon, which has dwindled, I suppose I'll frequent BSky with my antics now.

(And looking this for my own posterity)
