This has become the essential weight lifting album. I have to consciously make the decision to choose other albums occasionally so I don’t listen to it every time I lift.

Picked up an amazing, storied collection this week. And another couple amazing ones in the last month. We have somehow picked up over 5000 LPs of GREAT STUFF recently. Love this job. More words: www.instagram.com/p/DPDbzh5jbz...

New deftones and hell are my picks from last week. Incredible new albums. Depeche Mode reissues. Seth loves Hot Mulligan and Laufey. So much good stuff last Friday. erodingwinds.com/blogs/news/n...

It’s important to include some stupid stuff in your entertainment diet. If you only expose yourself to artsy-fartsy or cerebral entertainment you’ll start unironically referring to yourself as a cinephile or metal elitist.

Oshkosh will be CLOSED today, Sunday August 3rd. Appleton WILL be open though, from 12-4.

Parker and I had a ton of flight delays and cancellations returning from a conference in New Orleans, everyone has unskippable and unmissable stuff they need to attend to today, sorry!

If you’ve picked up a Blood Incantation or Death album (and we know many have) then your collection is INCOMPLETE without this absolute essential from 1993.

You may have seen us post about DEMILICH recently, and with good reason. Svart recently repressed their only full length album, a death metal masterwork called Nespithe. We recently restocked the smokey red vinyl, available online and in store now. erodingwinds.com/search?q=Dem...

We let the kids do the picks for the week and this is what happens.

TONS of new titles and reissues this week. Billy Strings and a reissue of In Flames Whoracle are highlights for me, but I’m still stuck at airports so more on that later. erodingwinds.com/collections/...

Mega restock week begins. Receiving a massive shipment of posters and hundreds of new vinyl best sellers / essentials. Vinyl should be hitting the floor now. Posters this weekend!

A sick shopping day at one of my favorite record shops in the world. Sisters in Christ in New Orleans, run by my old friend Bryan Funck. Bought a whole grip of great stuff and can’t wait to visit again.

Damn I think I gotta keep this one on the personal shelf a while. White label promo on the black jazz label. From my buddy Jazz Jake’s collection. Rip my friend. I’ll take good care of it.

What a bunch of nerds! Kill Screen is looking forward to returning to Metal & Beer Fest in Denver this December (it’s our job, after all) to link up with plenty of familiar faces—and maybe some new ones? 👀

SHIRT TIME. At long last we have a new design at both shops, the COSMIC CAT by our old friend Alysa Koepke (who many will remember from the Appleton Exclusive Company). We also have reprints of Azeta’s Electric Eye design.

Today we picked up one of the largest collections we’ve ever purchased. Unfortunately from a beloved customer that passed suddenly last year. A bitter sweet day indeed, but honored that Jake’s family has entrusted us to handle this collection. 3200ish jazz/funk/soul LPs and about 2500 45s.
