🚨Red Alert! New Episode!🚨
s7e9 - Force of Nature

The warping. It's been killing us all along. That and the fact that Data can't train his dang cat. Spot steals the show, and the dilithium! Also, the environment!

The Catholic Church abuse files are full of people who claim to care for victims but don’t want to be embarrassed or go bankrupt. Not just the church, either - families. You see them rationalise & justify in real time.
The notion abusers need to resort to conspiracies and subterfuge is more comforting than the truth that many people will readily look the other way when confronted with sexual violence if doing otherwise would even slightly inconvenience them
Pizzagate: If you replace the word “hot dog” with “little boy” and “pizza party” with “child sex orgy,” you will see the lengths these elites go to cover up their crimes.

Real elite emails: Send me nude pictures of those 8th graders we abused last weekend post-haste! I am the Ambassador to Turkey.

Actors are creatives, too. No director or writer has ever fully designed a character that an actor gives a performance to. Apologies, but it’s a collaborative art form. All creatives.

I no longer ‘support’ NYT because the labor - recipes, games, celebrity puff pieces, PR-level arts coverage - lack of Metro & sports coverage - elementary political analysis that a dead president often beats - nevermind the vicious editorial slant against Gaza & trans people - doesn’t benefit me
When you subscribe to a news source, you are not “supporting” it. You’re paying your fair share for labor from which you’re benefiting.

I picked this up at Clint’s (KC) as a kid, like halfway through the run of Gruenwald’s Squadron Supreme 12-issue. Hell yeah.
May as well read some Avengers.

John Buscema and Bill Everett covered Avengers 85 (1970).

A colleague once pointed out to me that a huge problem of being an artist talking to executives is that you’re a contractor talking to people on salary. You just fundamentally don’t experience life in the same way. The above is a similarly comprehensive divide.

I’ve been lucky, hitting the library sales this fall. Pop used to volunteer for a week for the one at his college. The union provides for 300lbs of shipping for this contract. Gonna use it all on books, records and DVDs.

So I finally watched THE BLACK HOLE after it came up on and thought it was...great! No joke!

I had no idea it was a blatant space adventure retelling of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea which is both one of my favourite books and movies of all time, and I think TBH did right by both of them! 🧵

Closing the show today. Third closing performance in two months. And it’s the 150th or so closing show of my career. Probably the final violence-heavy performance I’ll physically be able to do. Couple million folks have watched me develop advanced arthritis in the neck/knees. No more falling down.
