Sometimes technology truly makes things worse, not better. Remember when you could call the pharmacy & request a refill using the prescription number? Yeah, well I wanted to call in a refill for my husband. But because they know his number & I'm not calling from it, no dice! Really? Infuriating!

I went to the nearest Barnes & Noble and awkwardly explained to someone at the help desk that I had a new book out and asked where it might be (it's genre fluid) and it was faced out (!) Then she took some pictures, had me sign their books, and said they'd already sold a copy. A win/win/win.
