I missed this single season HBO show when it first came out. I'm 2/3 the way through it now and it is the most beautiful mix of science fiction, biological fiction, and animation I think I've ever seen. Cannot recommend it enough, absolutely phenomenal, will be rewatching as soon as I finish

I felt Sam had/has the right ideas for AI every time I've heard him speak, I don't feel this way about any other tech leader. I'm super concerned for the future of OpenAI and for AI. We all know MFANG will fuck it all up in the pursuit of profit, you were supposed to be different

Marc Andreessen's "Techno-Optimist Manifesto" left a really bad taste in my mouth. "His ideas are billionaire bullshit" was a comment that rang true. I think a16z was a big investor in Dfinity and the IC, sad to see such a poor stance from such an influential person. a16z.com/the-techno-o...
