##NoKings #Buffalo yesterday showed the self-limitation of the Democratic coalition. It can bring thousands onto the street, but each member of the coalition talked about their own particular concerns, like they always do, and did not offer a coherent narrative to move non-Democratic voters.

Republicans call government programs they don’t like "socialism" to make voters reject them out of hand without a thought. There’s no difference between programs except costs and benefits—defense and Obamacare are not qualitatively different.

Sometimes I wish that some of these people’s great-grandparents, some of whom probably fought the German Nazis in WWII, could be alive today and see what happened to their spoiled rotten spawn. And then deal with them the way parents used to discipline their offspring.
