@andreaspetersen.bsky.social had the idea that I could potentially use sand animation to create our own custom “grain” to composite into the short horror film we are hoping to make.
Happy to say the man was right! Tested and confirmed. Here I am making the grain. I’ll share the results soon.

The weather around here has finally started to feel like Autumn. That means it is indeed the perfect time to snuggle up to my paper stop motion Ghoul Log! It's filled with fun little animated surprises like this one. I kinda love it. 🎃 Someone tell Shudder to let me do their official one next year.

I’ve only been in Taiwan one day and I already have seen many wonders! There’s a great enthusiasm for animation here. I had a lovely first screening and an excellent Q & A session after with true stop motion lovers. Had to grab some creepy budget masks for the kids too!
