It should be every politician's goal to make public transport this available and this cheap in every semi-major metro area in the country.
You know, for all the bitching about the NY Subway, I got from 7th Ave in Brooklyn to Rockefeller Center in 24 minutes today for $2.90. It's the best deal on the planet and it's a shame we don't treasure this achievement more.

All of these things were well-documented and previewed before the election but they voted for him anyway. I will never understand.
