A couple of wins this week for me!
First, I received the virtual copy of my MS Management degree with the physical copy arriving in three weeks (finished that 11/2). It was nice seeing the Distinguished Scholar on it.
Second, I was accepted into the MFA (creative writing) program I applied to!

I have no skin in the game regarding Ole Miss, but what Lane Kiffin did to that team and that school is the shittiest thing he's done so far in his shitty career and that's saying something.

Well, the ACL/MCL/PCL ligaments are good, but both of the meniscus ligaments in my right knee have complex tears. Not how I wanted to spend the holiday season, but surgery is the only option. At least my right knee will match my left now. 🤣

At 30 I pivoted from sales to go to college for computer programming. A year in, in 2002, I was hired as a programmer and never finished my degree. At 54 in Oct '23 I finished my BS degree at Colorado State University - Global.
I've now completed the requirements for my master's program at 57.

We wanted to give something to those who might not have a lot, especially with SNAP not being funded. So, in addition to candy, we added other food items for Halloween. Microwavable Mac-n-cheese and Chef Boyardee cups and other foods. It's not much, but almost all of it was gone when done.
