📈 Food prices are up by around 30% since April 2022.

Our tracker found that this was the essential good that the highest number of low-income households went without.

Some 5.4 million low-income households cut back on or went without meals in the last 30 days.

So thanks to #brexit this will be a further dent in trade to the EU. My wife's fabric business (mainly selling quality fabric, mostly manufactured in the EU) will presumably also get caught by this.

I'm working on a study of Bronze Age axes, and I find it a little hard to articulate why.

* I don't get paid.
* Another journal paper won't make any difference for my employability at this stage.
* Almost nobody knows or cares that these axes exist.

I think the main reasons I do this is

* […]

@bodhipaksa yep. We need more community owned wind farms like that on Yell, Shetland.

See the thread here.

The loss of the right to trial by jury as being pushed by Lammy will result in even more authoritarian suppression of the right of peaceful protest. I think that it will also see the rise in miscarriages of justice.
With things like this you have to ask yourself, "are you comfortable with Reform UK deciding who gets a jury trial and who doesn't?"

Lammy is an enabler for Fascism
