I just did a 3 day “Make Your Own Acetate Frames” workshop with Sara Moshurchak at MOSH Eyewear in Vancouver. Fascinating and fun, and not only did I up my technical knowledge and personal confidence, I came away with a crazyfun pair of Statement Eyeglasses. I highly recommend the experience.

I just hung a collection of my assemblages, from wall scale to werables, at Guelph's fantastic Together Again eyewear gallery. Maressa and Neil showcase some of the top global eyewear designers, and local artists as well - pleased to be one! I hope to show my eyewear designs there some day.

Challenging day today. Celebrated our two year anniversary by going to Scandanave spa yesterday. Lovely to unplug, soak, steam, draw and paint. Today I should feel fantastic but read too much news madness. Hard staying positive. Worked on friends wedding rings to lift my spirits. Focus on the good.

Today I am sitting in my studio, unable to make anything, on the verge of tears, overwhelmed by all the madness and hostility and sheer blind stupidity.

I dropped 3 new assemblages off at Northern Contemporary in Toronto for their annual Fix Up Look Sharp group show of artists revamping thrift store found artworks. It’s going to be FUN. Opens Thurs March 6, runs til 18th.

My solo show at the Bookshelf Cinema Greenroom lounge (Guelph Ontario Canada) comes down March 9th. It features a collection of my mixed media assemblage sculptures - many on my original photos of found textures. Visit during the evening cinema hours or contact me to arrange a walk through by day.
