@maxwellfrost.bsky.social Hey Rep. Frost! Thank you so much for your work on the bogus “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act”, or more aptly named, Child Predator Empowerment Act, introduced by GOP. We love to see Dems fighting back against harmful bills! 💕

I’d love to hear from folks on here - what are climate-related content creators missing? What should exist, especially in the podcast space, that currently doesn’t? What sorts of information/stories/content would YOU love to see with climate being the broader lens?

Great question. HR 9495, the “nonprofit killer” bill, failed on the 12th but Republicans are bringing it back up again this week under a different process that requires only a majority vote to win.

In other words: keep calling your reps.
HAS THIS BILL FAILED. We are still getting some messages to advocate, but other info says the vote took place on the 12th. www.congress.gov/bill/118th-c...

Keep an eye on this. We’ll see what happens Monday; all Arkansas reps voted for it to pass so we’ll need to flood their offices with calls if it’s back up for a vote.

Arkansas House Reps are Eric Crawford, French Hill, Steve Womack, and Bruce Westerman.
Trump’s pick for attorney general is accused of sexual misconduct, drug use, and improper interactions with lobbyists. The findings from the House’s bipartisan investigation of Matt Gaetz haven’t been made public yet — and we won’t ever see them if Trump and Gaetz get their way.
