This conversation reminds me of several I had with my sister decades ago. I'm on the autism spectrum, picky about facts. She's neurotypical, and usually prefers to generalize.

She'd get upset about some injustice, an make a wildly overbroad statement about it. I'd be annoyed and "fix" it. ;)

Putin believe, or are trying to make us believe, that the Ruskies are gaining time by stalling the US's pointless talks. In reality, it’s Ukraine that is gaining time. There are still oil depots, factories, power plants, ports, etc., to bomb in Russia before spring.
