It is super uncanny that blue moon pathfinder mission 1 is already happening in january. for like 20 years blue does nothing but infinitely spend on infrastructure buildout then boom they land an orbital booster on a marine asset and are now shooting said booster at the moon. wha’da’fak!

goes without saying but musk is a huge idiot if he doesn’t detach starlink and ipo that instead. introducing fiduciary duty to spacex makes no sense with its current mars mission profile. and they really don’t want blue origin & china to have access to the required financial transparency!
the whole concept of trying to ‘correctly’ evaluate spacex in this specific time period before starship becomes operational is dead on arrival even before you factor in musk stock lunacy. what is spacex *actually* worth? who knows. the company is unrecognizable by 2030 on a bearish or bullish path.

(explaining my interests to a girl i like:) so yeah basically bringing tonnage to orbit and high performance compute is a lot like doomed yaoi, even as both compute cost per dollar and orbital tonnage per dollar drop dramatically, you should basically never combine the two unless you’re stupid

easiest kickstarter win ever: air-hockey computer opponent. its just a quick 2 axis belt unit with a wide angle vision camera underneath the scoreboard. snaps on and off of the table and can be stored underneath so you can play with or without it. if you wanna get fancy use magnets under the table
