Oh and btw the solution to "not everyone has the time to dedicate to art, you classist" is not "AUTOMATE ALL THE THINGS AND DON'T PAY ARTISTS" it's "VALUE ALL LABOR SO THAT PEOPLE ARE PAID FAIRLY AND CAN LIVE AND MAKE ART IF THEY WANT YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE"

Man not to go on and on with this but it’s really worth it to watch the actual clip of where the Miyazaki quote comes from just to see AI guys get asked “why are you doing this?” and seeing them having to grapple morally with it for the first time ever.
