Darkwitt and Lager talk about what this comic is about. Hypnosis, its pitfalls, and how to enjoy it safely and happily. Hypnosis has always been a fascination in Media, Literature, and Mythology. In modern interpretations, a few get inspired by it from cartoons. as Hypnosis and mind control are often fodder for stories wanting to turn the protagonists into enemies for a short while, or just having them pretend they're chickens. art by Lager. Before you even begin dealing with deeper hypnosis techniques. it's good to get to know the person you plan to go under with. Sometimes a reputation isn't enough. what may be great for another person might not be a good fit for you. This goes for both hypnotists and subjects. Some Hypnotists have an idea of what they want that might not fit your tastes, and some subjects are eager to lose themselves into the fantasy a little too much. art by Lager It's important to get familiar with the person you plan to do sessions with. Some people might have interests that don't match with yours. some might have a style of hypnosis that might make you uncomfortable. on the other side, a subject might have conditions or prior instances that might make them request things way beyond what you are capable/comfortable with providing. Buttlebeak Drone Log Day 18  I think I'm finally getting the hand of drone mentality! It's all thanks to a wonderful subby gentleman that was looking for a new bit of employment after his time over at the Fin Fortuna. His name is Reno, or rather, Buttlebeak  6153. Ohhhh the numbers are actually getting quite fun to give out now! I was so concerned about the idea of erasing identity that I didn't think it would be something people WANTED. but Reno really set the record straight that some people just want to experience feeling part of a bigger group without needing the expectations of the self to get in the way. Sometimes being absorbed in my work is a wonderful feeling. it makes me feel useful. makes me feel so much more than I am on my own. So I think I can respect the individual by polishing it and letting their name rest on my mantle in my menagerie. Now Reno stands at inspection, eyes swirling with purpose and vacant zeal. all that swims in his head is folding techniques and proper methods to scrub out stains and present hors d'oeuvres. He's just so cute the way he drools and waits to make sure he's up to my demanding specifications. I think he's just about earned his mask. Oh he's going to make a Master SO happy. Given his track record, I'm sure he already has!

Update 196-  I'm at my limit. I've tried everything. I've tried reconditioning. I've tried updates. I've tried alternate body type onboarding. it's too much for me to figure out. the COSHA training modules are just too effective. The Usagi have gotten to going as far as self updating to keep themselves safety oriented. So I'm trying one last desperate attempt to see if I can't correct the process. Doing paperwork for some COSHA usagi is a cognitive hazard. It was previously one of them most difficult things for COSHA to process because their paperwork is purposefully detailed and almost difficult to navigate. So we had a protocol associating paperwork with various dopamine events in the brain. For some, it's like eating a great dessert, for others, it's almost like sex.  we have the warning PSA in the orientation to make sure they keep themselves in moderation so as not to spiral into a feedback loop.  Subject Kira Is one of the desk drones at the main office. She's not a field drone so her conditioning might be a little less intense focusing on the bureaucratic infrastructure. my theory is that if I can get them to associate that danger of paperwork spiral with the danger of overbearing safety protocols, I might be able to show them that getting TOO focused on safety violations can be a cognitive hazard too.  but the risk of this is that COSHA paperwork in cognizant is quite strong. Hypnotic even. I'm not sure if it was Something the USAGI wrote or an addendum from what I had... but I've checked the paperwork and I've checked it again. I filed the permit for USAGI drone experimentation. It should be good. should prevent any fines from getting filed.  I should check it again.  Supplemental-  Jorogumo got me. I woke up with my head in a filing cabinet and ink spilt all over the floor.  Please don't tell me I ate a pen to get out of my spiral.
