COVID myths are foundational to modern fascism.

Stuff like the lab leak BS or the idea that we “overreacted” to the pandemic, or the claim that dissent was “censored” by the “biomedical security state,” are narrative pillars holding up the fascists’ bizarro, contradictory worldview.

Understand?

Right.

I see.

And they said disease control was expensive.

How many buildings could we have fixed with this kind of money? Hmmm?

All AI music does is devalue the work done by human artists. It’s not accessibility, it’s exploitation. We need real protections for artists against AI!

BTW — even if you had access to this AI startup as a child, you still wouldn’t know how to make music.

“Make America Healthy Again” is classic right-wing branding.

Giving something a name that is the opposite of what the thing actually is.

It’s like how “Americans for Prosperity” sounds really agreeable and good but in practice is a group dedicated to exploding wealth inequality.
The EPA has approved two new pesticides with "forever chemicals" that will be used on food.

The agency has also announced plans for four additional approvals.

The approved pesticides will be used on vegetables such as romaine lettuce, broccoli and potatoes.

Mainstream outlets like The Atlantic and The New York Times gleefully minimized COVID-19, especially in children, and legitimized the bad-faith figures of the anti-vaccine war on science. They have a mountain of blood on their hands.
Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?

Google removes a variety of longstanding GMail features if you try to withdraw your default consent (!) to having all your content read and used by Google Gemini via "Smart Features." That's an obvious attempt to coerce consent for privacy violations. Legislatures must act to make this illegal.

I’ve been tracking and writing about Brownstone since December 2021 and it’s really validating to see these pieces.

Solid write-up from KFF on its influence. One thing left out: The group helped steer the GOP House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic long before Trump took office.

Our beloved Alice Wong has joined the ancestors. It was one of the great honors of my life to call Alice my friend, co-author & co-conspirator. She was a true genius, a force of nature the likes of which the world has never seen before. I love you, Alice, and am equal parts grateful and devastated

This is extremely dangerous.

If you’re a journalist, politician, artist, or public figure, or anyone with a platform, you need to stop using X.

You’re not helping by remaining on the platform. You can say you’re fighting where the people are, but you won’t beat the algorithm.

Lead people off X.

I was polite the first time when I addressed your bad take on masking.

So this time, let me be more blunt:

Whining about those calling for masking in 2025, when Trump 2.0 is nuking the public health agencies that track and combat infectious disease threats, is entitlement and exclusionary behavior
Guy who gave me a whole quote post lecture because I said universal public masking is an unreasonable ask: 'I'm ,"pretty okay" with the Nazi tattoo guy giving self-described antifa guys combat training'

I do not support all left accounts. Some of you bitches are very dumb!
I’m not bc a gun guy, and it concerns me how armed and ready for conflict this country is…

But this I’m actually pretty okay with.
