Three years ago, I went back to the UK for the first time in a decade, and I always have a constant hankering to return.

I think I can only call Tron Legacy aggressively 2010 and a STUFF HAPPENING! kinda movie with a banger soundtrack and art direction.
My favourite scene is the heist and boardroom one at the beginning, because that is indeed one of the Business Buzzword Scenes of All Time mhmm mhmm.

I've been going out of my mind for the better part of a decade now for not having a full northern hemisphere September - December experience. The last time I had that was in 2017 and *that is my happy time* please I am *hankering* for it again.

I would love if marketing departments in publishing went back to putting actual, trustworthy reviews on their books rather than a vomit of "Buy this book! Readers love [title]! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐" comments, because there is not one group of book reviewers that I distrust more than those on social media.

For young teen me (2010-2013), NaNo was one of my favourite things. But play with fire, and you'll get burnt, RIP bozo, etc.
But it taught me that trying to write 50k in a month is insane and prone to burnout, when you could instead just work on a project at a steady pace throughout the year.

Started re-reading ASOIAF mid-last year, have now finished ADWD again, and I am bereft all over again because no Winds.
(To make things even funnier, I first read these books in 2012-2015 and was desperately worried that I wouldn't finish in time for Winds because I was reading them so slowly.)
