@tunneltalkpod.bsky.social ECW was violent and transgressive and got popular for it, and WWF and WCW ripped that off, which made wrestling more popular in the 90's/2000s. nWo was an invasion storyline that got WCW hot enough to beat WWF in the ratings for 1.25 years straight. I did both in one post
