It's difficult to criticize a black box system, but the matchmaking in ARC does seem very off. I enjoy a skill matched server with a friendly/aggro mix, but since I never shoot first, I completed my entire second expedition in a boringly quiet week that felt like hanging in a bad chatroom.

That goes *double* if I'm dead and the "copy" of me is being used in court to justify punishment for my killer(s) or make any kind of political point. That's a goddamn chatbot with my face on it, it can be made to say anything, they are desecrating my memory and I hereby endorse suing them over it.

A surprisingly good year! Moved back to my favorite city, made new friends and relationships, learned to cook, read a fuckload of books, expeditioned an ARC raider, beat every Arkham campaign and played a ton of other cool games. The worlds getting worse but we continue to live well in defiance.

People who argue "who cares it's just for kids" all I can say is fuck right off. Kids deserve thoughtful, well-made movies that challenge them just as much as adults do. Kids aren't stupid, and they remember how movies affect them basically forever.
