Is anyone else making a tactics game on bluesky?
I feel like they are kinda rare. Just saw @togeproductions.bsky.social‬/Kriegsfront is here and it made me think about it.

Surely some other people are making x-comlikes?

Nothing too exciting today, just experimenting with applying a shader to areas covered by fog of war, to differentiate them further from areas the player hasn't explored at all.

typescript strict mode that makes your types readonly unless explicitly stated otherwise

spent thurs and friday deep in the netcode trying to figure out a bug just to find it's a character controller bug that looks *exactly* like netcode rubberbanding, and the fix is a change to air control code written pre 2016 this code review is gonna take FOREVER to get approved

Slightly old progress but I'm still super stoked I got it working, real time fog of war taking minimal time to update each frame. Next major task is getting inventories working.

Hello I'm a #gamedev from Australia, making games at work and at home. Follow me for updates on whatever silly idea I'm working on atm. Right now it's Breach Protocol, a tactical scifi game that was spawned in acerola's game jam. Heavily inspired by the original 2D x-com. Made in #godot!
