Great read. I’ve been blown away by the incredible organizing in Chicago over the years to fight deportations and detention expansion. Lots to learn from their efforts and how they are preparing now.
As Trump threatens Chicago, organizers are bracing for raids but also hopeful that a vast suite of local protections and community trainings can limit the scale of deportations.
