Now that the 2023 NZ election is over, I looked at the relationship between donations and votes, and found an unexpected trend in who receives most of their money from large donations

Did donations translate into votes in the 2023 election?
For each vote it received, one party had just under $20 in its coffers. Another banked not much more than a dollar per vote.

It's official: 2023 will be Auckland's wettest year on record.

The previous record, 1979, saw 1487 mm of rain.

As of Wednesday, Auckland has now passed that level with more than two months still to go in the year.
