After lectures this week, I feel like using AI to report on basic stories such as earthquakes is okay and should be welcomed, because I agree with the point that it will allow journalists to focus on most interesting and in depth stories that need human expertise and compassion. #UWJ201 #319

After lectures this week, what principle of persuasion do you find yourself falling for the most? If any? #UWJ201 #319

A question I had from Friday's reading was that observational corrections puts the responsibility on the average citizen to correct misinformation. Not everyone will want to do this equally, so it will put stress on engaged people to do this job that is not their responsibility. #UWJ201 #319

In Friday's lecture, we talked about what psychologists use to measure people living a "good life" or not. For me, the most important are friendships, leisure and fun, fulfillment in career, and health and physical wellness. What do you prioritize or value in living a "good life?" #UWJ201 #319

In this morning's lecture we saw two examples of AI avatars that differed in their appearance. Personally I prefer the avatars to look like robots or anything not human because I find it creepy. It gives a sense of robots and AI becoming more powerful and more humans. #UWJ102 #319

I'm interested to know people's opinion on the "15 Most Influential Journalism Stories in US History." I personally found it a little boring because I wasn't able to figure out what I was supposed to get out of it. Maybe they are just things we should know? #UWJ201 #319

In our discussion today, a question was raised about if journalists will ever change their election coverage from horse-race reporting to policy based reporting? I think it's a good question, and I think that if any outlet would it would be a mainstream source rather than cable outlets. #UW201 #319

Scrolling on Instagram and seeing posts with "Suggested for you" and a "Why am I seeing this post" button like mentioned in lecture. This shows tracking can be used for ads can be applied to general posts on social media. I honestly like this feature because I am interested in cameras. #UWJ201 #319
