First day back at work after a week and a bit off is marginally improved by being the first day working from my new home office. I’m sure the novelty will wear off soon but, for now, it’s nice.

Walked past a cat without saying hello because there was someone coming towards me and I thought ‘They’ll probably think I’m weird if I stop to pet the cat.’ Walked on, heard the cat meow and turned around to see other person petting cat. Moral of the story: Always pet the cat.

I cancelled my Spotify subscription after 10+ years a few weeks ago. But just know that my top artist was the low-fi studio ghibli music I listened to on repeat for one month and then never again all year. 🤷♀️

Usagi Yojimbo is SO good! Just finished Book 4 in the ‘Saga’ and it was definitely the best yet. I love tales of samurai and traditional Japanese mythology / folklore, so combining that with this lovable rabbit ronin is just the perfect read for me. Emotional ending too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
