@hs.fi selvitti miten paljon lintuja ammutaan lentoturvallisuuden nimissä suomalaisilla lentokentillä. Pienellä Kauhavan lentokentällä ammuttiin runsaasti lintuja, mm. uhanalaisia selkälokkeja, vaikka kentällä ei ole matkustajaliikennettä.
