Met an #OFMD fan in the wild today - best feeling ever! She later tried to give me a pride flag they (her work) had going spare since I told her that’s why I was in town for. 🥹 Such a great moment!

My life is not an AU part whatever. Coming down a path on a mountain walk today, and some Māori boys (young men) walking behind me started singing the AoNZ anthem in Reo Māori. One of them said something about looking up the English words, and I started singing “god of nations at thy feet..”. 1/2

I keep thinking of the sliding doors moment of watching #ofmd vs something else. I might never have found this incredible fandom that just keeps on spreading joy and kindness. I genuinely think when I look back in 20 years I’ll be saying “yes, that was the moment it started getting better”.

DJ: Favorite moment on set was end of S1 when Stede is going to sea, the last thing we shot on location. Rhys pulled the dinghy in and we were running bc it was the last light. I directed it, Taika held the camera. We shot it and hugged on the beach because we had a nice time making the thing. #ofmd

I had to live stream my cousin’s funeral today because I have Covid, and afterwards went to read a WIP I’ve been enjoying only to find all *this* is happening. So 🖕to that, I’ll just have an an existential crisis instead, I guess, and cry over toys my son has outgrown. Cool cool.

I have a collection of photos called urban sunsets, mostly taken from my back yard. This particular one though is from my family home, which has just been packed up and sold after 37 years of love. The sky really turned it on to say goodbye.
