Having one of those mornings where I'm just a little cranky because money is fake and time is a human construct and we could all decide to have simple, beautiful lives but society chose this hustle culture instead. I think I need more coffee.

I went and watched Saw the Musical. There was a Jigsaw puppet. It is a parody of the movies and it was as awful and wonderful and bloody and fabulous as you'd imagine. If it tours to your city, it's worth it for a laugh.

Parents of teens, let's unite! Share with me all the sneaky ways your kids try to communicate with friends when grounded. So far we've seen them talk by sharing a Google doc, pretending to do homework and now the newest - using a bluetooth enabled sleep mask to stream phone calls after bedtime 😫

Just had a debate with my kid because he swore "Won't you be my neighbor" was original to Daniel Tiger and wouldn't believe me that Mr Rogers used it first. It's so fun to be right 😂

Wicked was everything I hoped it would be and more. And seeing it with my mom who I saw The Wizard of Oz with the first time and my daughter who saw it for the first time with me, plus my best friend who I saw the stage show with, made it so very special 💗

I think everyone should date night at IKEA. If someone can't play along and pretend they live in the rooms with you, that's a big red flag.

Did the kids' laundry. Emptied pockets first. Found a nut and bolt combo, an allen wrench and a broken pencil. Apparently my 13 year old is a disgruntled furniture builder in his spare time.

Setting #boundaries with clients is the most important thing to me these days. I don't answer emails, calls or texts on Sundays unless we have an event or it's a fire emergency. I need the day to reset myself for the new week and I'm inefficient to them if I don't.
