🎨Artist & Momma | 🖼️ Current Exhibition Garrett Museum of Art (Oct 10 – Dec 21, 2025); Upcoming Exhibition: Weston Art Gallery
Install shots from the Weston Art Gallery. This work is titled 'Child’s Play'. The new element for me is the paper weaving. I wanted to create a sense of texture that reminded me of being a kid. Another childlike element is my variation of a paper chain.

The leaves are starting to change, and I’m finally taking a moment to look back on this year as a whole. It’s been one of the busiest exhibition years of my life with eight shows in total!

It's hard work, but I feel a real sense of gratitude for all of the people who support me.

A moment that changed everything: experimenting with a new material and technique opened a whole new direction in my work.

After an installation, my studio feels empty, and I feel that creeping urge to “do something” just to feel productive.

I’m learning that reflection and quiet are just as essential to the process—and I’ve been trying to embrace that more.

Loved this article: "They remind us that healing is not confined to treatments and procedures, but is also nurtured by color, light, form, and shared human creativity... It restores balance, fosters trust, and brings dignity into spaces where it is needed most. Quite simply, art heals."

You might not believe me if I told you that in 2012, I was making watercolor paintings. I was using tiny shapes to create landscapes on paper, but somehow the pivot towards cutting tiny shapes out of paper and sewing them together to make 3D constructions felt natural.

Over the weekend, I continued working with the same purple flowers 🌸. This time, I expanded onto a larger piece of tulle and added copper embroidery thread for a little extra shimmer.

Taking apart something I made a while ago to make something new ✨. I’m diving in to explore more texture, layering, and variety—seeing what emerges when pieces are reimagined.

Being a mother has inspired me in more ways than one—and it’s a big part of how I found who I am through my installation work.

Progress update from the studio ✨

These are the pillows I’m making for my upcoming installation at the Garrett Museum of Art (@_gmoa).

This work is part of WOMEN TAKE THE WALLS 2025, where I’m reworking past elements in fresh ways to respond directly to the museum’s architecture.

I’m thrilled to be creating a new site-specific installation that responds to the architecture of the Garrett Museum of Art in their upcoming exhibition WOMEN TAKE THE WALLS 2025.

For this show, I’m reworking past elements in fresh ways—can’t wait to share it with you at the Garrett Museum of Art.

Good for the planet. Good for your practice. Good for your soul. 💫

Studio packed and ready for install! 🖌️

I have 12 hand-cut paper panels carefully wrapped in wax paper and bubble wrap, plus several containers of touch-up paint—just in case any surprises pop up during installation.

This summer I had the privilege of working with @artworkscincy, an organization that empowers teens through public art and youth employment, to design a large-scale paper installation for the new convention center in downtown Cincinnati.

Leaving to install a solo show on 5/30... I just found out that my artwork was mistakenly put on a barge instead of on an airplane. It won't arrive to the gallery for another 4 weeks.😭

I have to figure out this weekend what artwork I can bring that fits in my suitcase....
