I mean, no duh. The model is generating (ripping off) from humans who wrote good stuff, who did the work, who brought their humanity to their words. And it just hoovered that up and made a statistically valid autocomplete. From the work of real humans who should be cited, read, paid.
Is it possible to train A.I. models to produce great literature? In a recent experiment, M.F.A. students preferred A.I.-generated passages over passages written by their peers.
