"The smartest move the Greens could make would be to reject May’s plea to remain party leader, move forward with a leadership campaign and get a new leader who isn’t in May’s back pocket in any way, shape or form. It’s the party’s only means of survival."

In fairness it’s not like she has to give up her seat entirely, or even leave the party.

But seriously, part of the problem is people sees the Green Party as the Elizabeth May Party. Green Party will need to move on from her as leader sooner or later.

This leadership review is a vote on whether Elizabeth May can lead us into the next election. We believe we need a new leader, and that process must start soon.

We can't afford to keep May on any longer, we just start the process of renewal with a Leadership Race. To do that, we must vote No in the leadership review.

Vote NO on the leadership review for Elizabeth May. It is time for a Green Party Renewal @greenpartyrenewal.bsky.social

No one in the party has taken any responsibility for the disastrous election campaign.

The time for change is now and the stakes have never been higher.

Elizabeth May wants to frame the Leadership review as about supporting her in the short term while she debates resigning. But the review is actually about whether or not May deserves to serve through the next election.

Vote "No" in the leadership review.

Correction to Philippe - May hasn't actually resigned. She has just claimed she wants to resign, maybe, if the vibes are right, before the next election.

We still need to vote "No" in the upcoming leadership review

Most Parties have honest debriefs about how a campaign went. Not so with the GPC, the Party wants to sweep the problems under the rug.
