rates of mask wearing at left org meetings would go up if masks were provided and the people who set up the meeting wore them.
lots of people would show up, see everyone else masking, see the masks at the front, and put one on without a fuss.

if someone in the middle of the holocaust was saying that the problem wasn't nazism itself but hitler, and that the solution was to 'hold hitler accountable' while maintaining the third reich, you would have very little trouble recognizing that person was still just a nazi.

i don't think there is any one singular 'litmus test' for having 'good' politics.
we are always seeing who people are, what their goals are, what their focus is, and what they are ignoring or unaware of.
there is no end or 'passing the test.'
