Look out Dutton, there is an awesome independent candidate running against you in Dickson!
Hi, I’m Ellie Smith, proud Queenslander, local mum, and environmental consultant running as your independent candidate for Dickson with Dickson Decides! My goal? A community-first approach: better roads, stronger local businesses, and creating opportunities for everyone #Dickson

Yes I do Fred. Dutton has a very serious opponent and he is worried. Check this out: bsky.app/profile/elli...
Dutton’s in panic mode. He’s torn down his own billboard to attack me—because for the first time, he knows he could lose.

I’m backed by thousands of supporters and hundreds of volunteers on the ground.

Get involved now and keep the pressure on. https://www.elliesmith.com.au/volunteer

I also found door-knocking for Ellie a really positive experience.

Ellie Smith is the kind of person we need representing us in Canberra!
If standing up for farmers, clean creeks and clean politics makes me a target—so be it. I won’t back down. I won’t play their game.

Dickson deserves better than scare campaigns and self-interest. We deserve leadership with integrity.

A terrible announcement today. Good to see the Save Victoria Park campaign have a legal fund to fight it.

Next week will be the Parliament's last chance to spare voters from an onslaught of outright lies in political ads.

87% of Australians support truth in political advertising laws. Our Government should do its job.

I think Ellie Smith is in with a very real chance in Dickson. She has an amazing team of volunteers who are out campaigning all over the electorate.

Julia's interview with Ellie Smith on the Independents podcast is very inspiring and well worth a listen! I'm looking forward to listening to more interviews with independent MPs and candidates. Their presence makes a change our political system to be more democratic possible!
I might be biased but I think Julia Zemiro's fabulous "The Independents" is worth a listen! She is a wonderful conversationalist and I loved talking about what is happening here in Dickson, and what I'd love to see happen in 3 years.
