I wouldn't be surprised if Japan's little flirtation with fascism ends even quicker than the US's is seeming to shape up to be. Like even with this, I legitimately don't believe Japan is heading more conservative. Trying to cling on to normalcy. But not ready to go full WW2 mindset yet
My quick reaction is that Takaichi’s win isn’t because of a conservative shift among the voters but a collapse of the opposition’s CRA effort

It honestly feels like people genuinely don't understand what actually happened and how the people who worked with her actually feel about it. The blame almost exclusively goes to her talent agency and even if toei was mad they would have waited to the end of the series to do anything.
Tbh Not to call anyone specific but the sheer overwhelming level of malice people have towards gozyuger cuz of the Maya stuff almost feels like a full circle moment. Where it feels like you're revering her so much that it feels like some of you all are disrespected the rest of the show and cast
