I feel like there was a sweet spot of a particular kind of "nobody asked for this" IP-Turned-Movie from like 2015-2018 (Angry Birds, Emoji Movie, etc) that's like fascinating to me because they're just doing insane shit couched in the middle of all being the same exact movie with the same beats
