Sabbath, like Iron Maiden, were one of those bands that were built up to be really scary and dangerous and something to warn parents about in the 80s and then when I heard them, they sounded kind of beautiful, a bit like classical music, and sang anti-war songs.
It’s funny to see normies on, like, the Today Show being all nice about Ozzy when he was *literally* demonized in the Satanic panic of the 80s. My mom was *convinced* he was trying to get kids to worship the devil. And now he’s just that cuddly old guy. 🤘
