No one who has spread rhetoric that has incited attacks on dedicated scientists and healthcare workers should be allowed to hold government leadership positions or elected office. Period.

Since moving to PEI, I've become mildly obsessed with seaglass and pottery shards, so beachcombing has become a favourite activity of mine. Here's a pile of some of my favourite sea glass finds so far. 🐚🌊 #seaglass #beachcombing #PEI #Maritimes

Damning.

A new report is exposing hundreds of Canadian arms shipments to Israel.

I’ll be covering this today. The press conference should be starting any minute now.

Let’s talk about something that makes me want to vomit: the manosphere.

Because a new study from Emelia Sandau and @luccousineau.bsky.social reveals its gnarly offline impact — starting in classrooms.

Luc joins me on the show this week to explain.

Here’s a sneak peek:

FUCK THE PATRIARCHY 💯
Every day, I am reminded that I live in a society that will believe absolutely anything about a woman to ignore the obvious about men.

Mark Carney promised “elbows up” against the US, but he’s offering a warm embrace to US tech companies and the AI hype they’ve unleashed.

As Canada’s AI minister suggests AI regulation is off the table, there’s ample reason to be worried about Carney’s tech agenda.

My latest for @breachmedia.ca:
Mark Carney’s AI agenda is a gift to Big Tech ⋆ The Breach
The Liberal government is charging ahead with the technology despite mounting evidence of harm for workers, vulnerable groups, and public services

I wanna encourage allies to make donations today.

Every sexual assault centre in the country has seen an uptick in calls *just* from the trial, let alone today's verdict.

I'd also encourage you to support the most effective rape resistance program in the world (based here in Canada!)

Science shouldn’t be a partisan issue.

From cancer treatments to extreme weather alerts, science makes everyone’s life better, regardless of political affiliation.

But science becomes partisan when corrupt politicians defund research, fire scientists, and censor data, harming us all.
